TexRAD was the invention of researchers from Brighton and Sussex Medical School and the University of Sussex. The collaboration aspired to develop innovative and cost-effective software to help clinicians manage diseases such as cancer. TexRAD successes include over 100 academic publications, numerous awards and it is currently in use in over 50 prestigious institutions worldwide. In 2011, the founders of TexRAD entered into a partnership with Cambridge Computed Imaging Ltd to help develop the TexRAD software to maximise its potential in radiomics and reach across the world.
Cadran, our picture archiving communication system (PACS) for medical images, was originally founded by Cambridge Computed Imaging Ltd to support the needs of Royal Papworth Hospital, the UK’s largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital. Since its conception, Cadran has been used in medical facilities to support diagnosis, plan treatments, measure response and aid sharing of knowledge within multi-disciplinary teams.
