London-based HealthTech company Feedback Medical has today announced two new major hires to help drive the growth of its flagship product, Bleepa.

Nick Mayhew is joining as Head of Marketing and Communications, and Stephen McAteer as a Key Account Manager.

Nick joins Feedback Medical after working for organisations including InHealth, Boston Scientific, Guy’s and St Thomas’ and UCLH. He brings a wealth of experience in the healthcare sector, as well as highly specialised knowledge of developing and delivering new products and services for both the primary and secondary care healthcare markets.

Stephen has more than fifteen years of progressive healthcare experience – and is a business development, change management and stakeholder engagement expert. He has extensive international clinical, business and leadership expertise along the continuum of health and social care. On top of this, he has a thorough understanding of the challenges and complexities of high quality, direct patient care with a system view of the healthcare environment at a frontline, regional and international level.

This news follows hot on the heels from Feedback Medical’s successful launch of flagship product Bleepa at last year’s NHS Expo, and the announcement of Bleepa’s first pilot study with the Pennine Acute Hospital NHS Trust.

Bleepa, a secure instant messaging app, gives teams access to clinical grade medical images including CT, MRI and X ray through smartphones, tablets and desktops. By connecting teams, wherever they are, Bleepa empowers clinicians to make better decisions faster, and more collectively.

Tom Oakley, CEO of Feedback Medical, commented

“We believe that Bleepa will have a significant impact the future of clinical communications, and the recruitment of Nick and Stephen is an indication of our ambitions.”
